Pre Dance
An introduction to dance for recreational boys and girls ages 3-4 years. This class incorporates the use of props and visuals to create a multisensory learning environment that incorporates different elements of dance to enhance student engagement and build a strong foundation for learning specialized skills in future dance classes. This fun, high energy class is 30 minutes. Girls must wear a navy blue or black bodysuit, pink ballet tights and pink ballet slippers. Boys may wear navy blue or black shorts or track pants, white t-shirt and black ballet or jazz shoes.

 

Combo Classes
An hour class which combines two subjects: Ballet/Tap for recreational 4-6 years old students and Jazz/Acro for 5-6 years old. These classes utilize props and visuals to explore the concepts of dance along with technique. Students must wear a navy blue or black bodysuit, proper tights and shoes.

 

Jazz
A style of dance which incorporates technique, co-ordination, movement and freedom of expression. Jazz is exciting and fun and one of the most popular styles of dance for all students. Students must wear navy blue or black dancewear, suntan stirrup tights and beige footundeez.

 

Tap
A series of regulated and controlled rhythmical sounds created by the movement of the feet. A fun and upbeat class.  Students must wear navy blue or black dancewear, suntan tights and black tap shoes.

 

Acrobatics
A form of dance that teaches flexibility, strength and agility along with basic floor gymnastics and body contortion. Students must wear navy blue or black dancewear and suntan stirrup tights.

  

Ballet
A classical form which develops grace, poise, and posture, while at the same time developing muscle tone and control. Ballet is the foundation of all dance styles. Ballet is mandatory for entry into our competitive programs. Students must wear a navy blue or black body suit, pink ballet tights and pink ballet slippers. Hair must be pulled back in a bun. Pointe classes are also available upon request.

 

Hip Hop
A free style of dance that incorporates street dance. It redefines and reinvents many early jazz dances and movements, backed up by popular music as seen in today's music videos. Students must wear navy blue or black track pants or shorts, white or black t-shirt and black indoor running shoes with non-marking soles.

 

Musical Theatre
A fun combination of dance and acting highlighting Broadway songs and Movie Musicals. Characterization is performed through lip sync and Jazz movements
